Who we are

Fusion Prevent Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: hello@fusionprevent.com.

The free scan

The scan examines information that is already public about your firm. It is passive: we do not probe, test, log into or access your systems, and nothing we do requires your permission beyond asking for it.

You may run a scan on a domain your organisation owns or controls, or for which you have permission. Running it against a domain you have no connection to is a misuse of the service.

What a scan can and cannot tell you

A scan reports what we could see at the moment we looked. It is not a penetration test, not a security audit, and not a certification. A clean result does not mean your firm is secure — it means nothing was visible from outside in the checks we ran.

Findings can be wrong in both directions. Third-party data can be stale, and an exposure can appear the hour after we looked. We report what we find and tell you where we found it so you can check it yourself.

The monitoring service

Paid monitoring runs the same checks continuously and reports what changes. We advise on what to fix and in what order. We do not make changes to your systems; acting on our findings is your decision and your responsibility, and you remain responsible for your own security.

Fees, billing period and notice are set out in your order. Annual fees are payable in advance. You may cancel within 30 days of a first payment for a full refund.

What we are not liable for

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any security incident, loss, or breach affecting your firm, whether or not it relates to something we did or did not find. We are a monitoring and advisory service, not an insurer and not a guarantor. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data.

Your data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The free scan depends on third-party data sources which can be unavailable or rate limited, in which case a scan may return fewer results or fail.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes affecting clients will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
